About Me: |
What’s up beautiful people?! I guess the one thing that you MUST know about me is that I live and love because the people in my life make it so easy and enjoyable for me to do, and it just feels good, ya know?! I love my family. I love my Sistafriend. I love my friends. I love meeting new people. I love good conversations. I love how easy it is for me to be inspired by people. I love student organizing. I love asking hard questions. I love being stumped by hard questions. I love learning about my culture and my people. I love telling my story. I love having strong morals and convictions. I love learning. The list goes on, but just know that yeah, I may love easily...but I assure you that I love for real. If you wanna ride/hang/chill/chit chat/listen to music/sing/take pictures/play board games/watch movies/make movies/sing karaoke/go to Petroglyphs/chow down/drive around aimlessly/laugh/love/cry/make memories with me, get at me son!!! Peace and Love… |
How did you get involved with e²? |
I heard about e² through the OPERS Fall Festival last year and I really wanted to get involved with it. A few weeks later, I went to the e² Open House, bought an e² sweatshirt, signed up for their emailing list, and I’ve basically been hooked ever since. Last year I was a volunteer for Motivation Conference, and this year I’m participating in KAMP, CUSN, MC, and hopefully as many other programs as I can. One thing that really attracted me to e² was when I took the e² class winter quarter. Taking that class really shook up everything that I thought I knew about social justice: to the point of frustration, to the point of self-reflection, and to the point of channeling all of this into what I like to call my passion for action and change. Thanks to the e² class and community, I’m now one of the e² class co-facilitators for this school year, and I promise you, dear reader, that the e² class is the place to be come winter AND/OR spring quarter. I love e² because _________. e² is amazing because _________. Curious? Stop by the office, talk to some cool folks, get some helpful info on what e² is all about, and find out for yourself ;) GET INVOLVED. GET EMPOWERED. I LOVE e²!!!! |
