ChALE, Umoja, CUSN, KAMP (Ch.U.C.K.), is the combined ethnic retention
programs here at UCSC. The organzation was created to have a place for
people to network and make collaborative efforts with one another. As
one, this organization offers academic support with tutoring services
provided by the Educational Opportunity Program (EOP) as well as a
helping hand.

Outreach

To ensure all students have the same opportunities for higher
education, outreach programs seek to create opportunities for, and
encourage K-12 Students to continue their education at an institution
of higher education. Each program targets under-resourced and/or
low-income students from traditionally non-college going families.
